Oily Skin
Oily skin occurs when the skin’s sebaceous glands produce too much sebum (a naturally occurring oil in the skin).
Oily skin can look shiny, feel greasy and lead to breakouts. Oily skin can be caused by genetics, diet, hormones, medication and using the wrong skin products.
SOLUTIONS MAY INCLUDE:
Good skin care is vital to prevent oily skin. This may include products based on alpha hydroxy acid (AHA), tretinoin or salicylic acid. You should also avoid occlusive products (those designed to provide a protective seal over the skin and lock in moisture) as these can make the condition worse.
