Choosing the right plastic surgeon for you.

You must feel comfortable with them be able to be honest about what you want. Your surgeon should be willing to listen to you concerns and what’s important to you, and give you all the information you need to make an informed decision. They should never try to rush you or pressure you into undergoing a procedure you’re not ready for.

What training and experience have they had?
Do they seem concerned about you personally?
About the practice:
Is there someone you can contact if you’re concerned or have a question?
What procedures are in place if there is a complication?
Are the staff friendly and do they treat you with respect?
Is the clinic clean and professional?
About the Procedure:
Does the surgeon understand what I want done?
Do I understand what the surgeon plans to do?
Do I understand the full costs involved?
Have I been told about the risks and possible side effects of my procedure, and what I should do if they occur?
Have I been told what to expect after the operation?
Do I know what follow-up and after-care has been arranged?
